Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Part-time Nanny to provide exceptional care for a family in the New Port Richey area. This role primarily involves weekend school pick-ups and engaging children in fun and developmental activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, experienced, and have a genuine passion for childcare, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely pick up children from a local suburban school on designated weekend afternoons.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including creative play, outdoor adventures, and homework assistance.
- Prepare light snacks or simple meals as needed.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized environment for the children.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents regarding children's activities and well-being.
- Adhere to the family's established routines and guidelines.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of documented childcare experience with school-aged children.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and responsible.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous professional nanny or babysitting experience.
- Knowledge of local child-friendly activities and resources in New Port Richey, FL.
