Job Description

Are you a night owl looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference to guests’ experiences? Hilton Woking is seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our vibrant team. This entry-level position comes with a high night shift premium and comprehensive, full training, making it perfect for individuals eager to start a career in hospitality without prior experience. As a Night Porter, you will be the face of our hotel during the quiet hours, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our guests, and maintaining the hotel’s pristine standards. Your keen eye for detail, proactive approach, and friendly demeanour will be essential in this crucial overnight role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform security rounds of the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and property security.
  • Handle late arrivals and early departures efficiently, including check-ins and check-outs.
  • Assist guests with any requests or queries, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  • Conduct light cleaning duties and ensure public areas are tidy and presentable.
  • Prepare meeting rooms or breakfast areas for the following day.
  • Monitor CCTV and respond to any alarms or incidents promptly.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as preparing reports and managing records.
  • Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are adhered to during the night shift.
  • Act as a first point of contact for emergency situations, following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
