Job Description

Join our essential Night Owl Crew at FedEx and become a vital part of our operational backbone. This is a critical full-time position responsible for the efficient sorting, loading, and unloading of packages during the overnight shift, ensuring timely delivery for our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently sort, scan, load, and unload packages into and out of vehicles and containers.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively (training provided).
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
  • Accurately complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
  • Handle packages of varying sizes and weights, up to 75 lbs, with or without assistance.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work consistently from 10 PM to 6 AM.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to lift, push, pull, and carry packages frequently.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physical labor role.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts – certification a plus).
