Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Mud Engineer Associate with a strong focus on chemical analysis to join our dynamic team in Darlington. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and specialized chemical analysis of drilling fluid samples on-site.
  • Monitor drilling fluid properties (e.g., density, viscosity, pH, fluid loss) and recommend adjustments.
  • Prepare detailed reports on fluid analysis results and system performance.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used for chemical testing.
  • Collaborate with senior mud engineers and drilling teams to troubleshoot fluid-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all operations.
  • Assist in inventory management of drilling fluid additives and chemicals.
  • Participate in training and development programs to advance technical knowledge.
