Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Logistics Tally Clerk to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately monitoring and recording the movement of shipments online, ensuring all data is meticulously entered and tracked within our systems. This is a crucial position for maintaining the integrity of our logistics data and supporting the efficient flow of goods across our network. You will work independently to verify shipment details, reconcile discrepancies, and communicate findings to relevant departments, all from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor incoming and outgoing shipment data through online logistics platforms.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipping manifests, bills of lading, and other documentation against physical or digital records.
  • Identify and report discrepancies in shipment quantities, descriptions, or destinations.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all tallied items and movements.
  • Communicate effectively with freight forwarders, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and issues.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of shipping errors or delays.
  • Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports on shipment volumes and accuracy.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding data entry and logistics operations.
  • Utilize various software and online tools for data management and tracking.
