Key Responsibilities
- Assist the kitchen team with daily food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling sandwiches and salads.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Ensure all ingredients are stored correctly and rotated according to FIFO (first-in, first-out) principles.
- Support the Head Chef and other kitchen staff with various duties as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages to the kitchen manager.
- Adhere to Pret A Manger's recipes and quality standards for all food items.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
