Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring of security alerts and logs, identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct initial investigations into security incidents, collecting and analyzing data to determine the scope and impact.
- Support the development, testing, and deployment of AI/ML models for anomaly detection, threat prediction, and automated response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI-driven security solutions into existing infrastructures.
- Document incident response procedures, security policies, and AI model performance.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and AI advancements in the security landscape.
- Participate in security awareness training and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and common attack vectors.
- Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems (Linux, Windows), and cloud environments.
- Foundational knowledge or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python) for automation and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate).
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Prior experience in a security operations center (SOC) or IT support role.
- Coursework or projects involving AI/ML for cybersecurity applications.
