Job Description
Join the Target team in Sacramento as an Inventory Counter for night shifts. This casual work opportunity offers flexible scheduling and shift pay, perfect for individuals seeking supplemental income or a flexible work arrangement. As an Inventory Counter, you will be crucial in maintaining accurate stock levels by meticulously counting and verifying merchandise during non-operating hours. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate counts of merchandise on sales floor and in stockroom areas.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other inventory tools effectively.
- Identify and report discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Organize and prepare merchandise for efficient counting processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Work during specified night shifts, primarily after store closing hours.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
