Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated International Berry Pickers to join our agricultural team for the upcoming harvest season. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the agricultural sector within the UK, with full work permit support provided. You will be responsible for carefully picking and packing various types of berries, ensuring quality standards are met from farm to consumer. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Hand-pick a variety of soft fruits, including strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, with care and precision.
- Sort and pack berries according to quality standards and specific customer requirements.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations on the farm.
- Work efficiently and productively to meet daily picking targets.
- Report any fruit quality issues or plant health concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural work or manual labour is a plus, but not essential.
