Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Industrial Park Laborer to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This position offers a stable local route and plays a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency and cleanliness of our industrial park facilities. You will perform a variety of manual labor tasks, supporting our operations to ensure a safe and well-maintained environment for all tenants and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance tasks within the industrial park, including litter removal, sweeping, and waste collection.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance activities.
- Assist with minor repairs and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment as directed.
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment as needed.
- Follow all company safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any hazards, damage, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and adhere to work schedules.
- Support recycling and waste diversion initiatives within the industrial park.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall site operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a labor, maintenance, or industrial setting.
- Familiarity with operating light machinery or forklifts (certification not required but a plus).
