Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Housekeeping Porter to join our vibrant team at Hilton Coventry. This pivotal role involves providing essential heavy lifting and logistical support to our housekeeping department, ensuring the smooth operation and impeccable presentation of our guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will be reliable, strong, and possess a keen eye for detail, contributing significantly to our guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist housekeeping staff with the relocation and arrangement of furniture, beds, and other heavy items within guest rooms and public areas.
- Transport linen, cleaning supplies, and equipment to various floors and storage areas efficiently and safely.
- Remove waste and soiled linen according to hotel procedures and health and safety guidelines.
- Deliver guest amenities and special requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms, trolleys, and work areas.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
- Support the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms and event spaces as required.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
