Job Description

Barclays in Kettering is seeking a dedicated and proactive Filing & Post Room Clerk to join our busy team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone eager to learn and contribute to the smooth operation of our administrative functions. You will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail, as well as maintaining our vital filing systems, ensuring all documents are processed efficiently and accurately. This is a crucial on-site role that supports our various departments, making you an integral part of our daily success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort, distribute, and dispatch internal and external mail daily.
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems, ensuring accuracy and easy retrieval.
  • Scan, photocopy, and archive documents as required.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Manage courier services and log incoming/outgoing deliveries.
  • Assist with general office administration tasks as needed.
  • Ensure the post room and filing areas are kept tidy and organized.
