Job Description

Are you meticulously organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating order from chaos? AMP Limited is seeking a dedicated Home Records Organizer to join our client support team in Geelong. In this unique role, you will be responsible for meticulously organizing and managing personal and household records for our valued clients, ensuring privacy, accessibility, and efficiency. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, possesses excellent administrative skills, and genuinely enjoys transforming cluttered paper offices into streamlined, functional spaces. You will work directly with clients, often in their homes, to establish robust filing systems, digitize important documents where appropriate, and provide ongoing support to maintain an organized environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess existing paper-based record-keeping systems in client homes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement personalized, efficient, and user-friendly organizational systems for various household documents, including financial records, medical information, utility bills, warranties, and personal correspondence.
  • Categorize, sort, and file physical documents accurately and logically.
  • Assist with the digitization of relevant documents, ensuring secure storage and easy retrieval.
  • Shred and dispose of sensitive or redundant documents in a confidential manner.
  • Provide guidance and training to clients on maintaining their new organizational systems.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all client information.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Prepare reports on organizational progress and completed tasks for client review.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality protocols and and privacy regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain systematic filing and record-keeping processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in administrative support, personal assistance, or professional organizing roles.
  • Familiarity with various document management software or cloud storage solutions.
  • Certification in professional organizing or records management (e.g., NAPO, ARMA).
  • Knowledge of financial or legal document categories and retention guidelines.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
