Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic medical center team. This role offers flexible shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours, allowing for a work-life balance that suits your needs. As an RN, you will provide direct patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality care. This is an on-site position critical to our patient care operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs, documenting observations accurately.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
- Active Colorado RN license
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred within 6 months of hire)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Specialty certification (e.g., Med-Surg, Critical Care)
- Experience with diverse patient populations
- Demonstrated leadership potential
