Job Description
The University of East Anglia is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Historical Document Tagger to join our Digital Archive Project. This full-time, on-site role is essential for the accurate digitization and cataloging of our extensive historical collections. You will play a vital role in preserving our heritage by applying standardized tags and metadata to a diverse range of historical documents, making them searchable and accessible to researchers worldwide. Key Responsibilities
- Examine and analyze various historical documents, including manuscripts, letters, maps, and photographs.
- Apply standardized tags, keywords, and metadata to documents according to project guidelines and archival best practices.

- Collaborate with archivists, historians, and technical teams to refine tagging protocols.
