Job Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated and energetic Late Shift Porter to join our vibrant team in Salford, Greater Manchester. This is an immediate hire opportunity offering a high hourly rate for individuals committed to providing outstanding service during our evening and overnight operations. As a Late Shift Porter, you will be a crucial part of our guest experience, ensuring smooth operations and assisting with various tasks to maintain our high standards of hospitality and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist guests with luggage, packages, and other personal belongings upon arrival and departure, and throughout their stay.
- Transport items between guest rooms, storage areas, and other hotel departments efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, entrances, and storage rooms during late shifts.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Perform light maintenance duties or report issues to the appropriate department as needed.
- Support the front desk and other departments with various tasks to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures and guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for late shifts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of hotel operations and guest needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Familiarity with the local area of Salford and Greater Manchester.
- A clean UK driving license (advantageous for specific tasks, but not essential).
