Job Description
We are seeking a enthusiastic and skilled Guitar Instructor to teach beginner students at our Pearland location. This role is perfect for a musician with strong guitar playing abilities and a passion for sharing knowledge with aspiring musicians. You will be responsible for providing engaging and effective one-on-one and group lessons, following our proven curriculum while also adapting to individual student needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, engaging guitar instruction to beginner students of all ages (children and adults).
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with the School of Rock curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive, fun, and encouraging learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Prepare students for potential performances and group rehearsals.
- Maintain a professional and organized teaching space.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficient in playing acoustic and electric guitar across various genres.
- Strong understanding of music theory fundamentals applicable to guitar.
