Job Description

Fred Meyer is seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Grocery Stocking Auditor to join our night replenishment team in Anchorage, AK. This full-time, on-site role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring shelves are properly stocked, and upholding our high standards for store presentation, especially during our overnight operations. You will be responsible for meticulously auditing stocked products, identifying discrepancies, and assisting with efficient replenishment processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to accuracy, all performed during our crucial night shifts to prepare the store for the next day’s customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits of grocery aisles post-replenishment to ensure accuracy in stocking and product placement.
• Verify stock levels against inventory records, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or errors.
• Monitor expiration dates and product freshness during audits, rotating stock as needed.
• Ensure products are displayed according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Document audit findings clearly and accurately, preparing reports for management.
• Assist the night replenishment team with stocking, organizing, and maintaining the sales floor and backroom as required.
• Operate essential store equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or balers, after proper training.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency during night operations.

Preferred Qualifications
