Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Financial Operations Clerk with a strong focus on accounting and audit principles to join our growing team in Thornton, CO. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The successful candidate will support our financial operations by performing a variety of tasks related to data entry, reconciliation, document management, and assisting with audit preparations. Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain organized and comprehensive financial records, both physical and digital, in preparation for internal and external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required by management or audit teams.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial documentation and resolve any operational issues.
- Support the audit process by retrieving requested documentation, answering basic queries, and ensuring all necessary information is readily available.
- Utilize accounting software and systems effectively for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Adhere to all financial regulations and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Contribute to process improvements within the financial operations department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
