Job Description

Join the FedEx team as a Return Center Sorter, where you will play a crucial role in processing e-commerce exchanges. This position involves sorting, scanning, and organizing returned merchandise, ensuring efficient flow through our distribution network. You will be responsible for accurately identifying products, verifying return documentation, and preparing items for repackaging or reshipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately sort and scan returned e-commerce packages and products.
  • Verify item details against return authorization forms and exchange documentation.
  • Identify damaged or defective items and follow established procedures for disposition.
  • Organize returned inventory in designated areas for processing, repackaging, or reshipment.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely as required (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce return processes.
