Job Description

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Aides. This is an entry-level opportunity designed for those new to the healthcare field, offering comprehensive paid training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel. As a Personal Aide, you will provide essential support to patients and their families, ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive experience within our care facilities. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of comfort and dignity.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients.
  • Assist with patient transportation within the facility as needed.
  • Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all health system policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Participate actively in all required paid training sessions and continuous education opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.
  • Respect patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
