Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Trailer Loader to join our afternoon shift team in Overland Park. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the safe and systematic loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring merchandise is handled with care and accuracy. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Verify product counts and ensure accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other material handling equipment in a safe manner.
- Inspect trailers for proper loading procedures and securement of freight.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve any loading discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
