Job Description
Are you looking for flexible, casual weekend work that puts you right in the heart of the action? Showsec is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Event Ushers at major stadiums across South Yorkshire, primarily in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at high-profile sporting events, concerts, and other large-scale gatherings, ensuring a positive and safe experience for thousands of attendees. You’ll play a vital role in guiding guests, providing information, and assisting with any queries to make their event experience unforgettable. No prior experience is necessary – full training will be provided!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and direct event attendees to their designated seats or areas with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Provide accurate information about event schedules, facilities, and stadium policies.
- Monitor assigned sections for any safety hazards, breaches of conduct, or crowd issues, reporting concerns to supervisors.
- Assist attendees with special needs or accessibility requirements.
- Help manage crowd flow during entry, exit, and intervals, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Resolve minor attendee queries or complaints efficiently and courteously.
- Enforce venue rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other event staff and security personnel to ensure overall event success.
