Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Office Janitor to join our team in Hove, ensuring our client’s office space is clean, tidy, and hygienic. This is a part-time evening position, ideal for individuals looking for consistent work with a predictable schedule. The role involves general cleaning duties in a quiet office environment after business hours, from 6pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday. We value attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a pristine workspace for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
  • Empty waste bins and recycling containers.
  • Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and office furniture.
  • Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and common areas, including wiping down surfaces and cleaning sinks.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company cleaning standards.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
  • Work efficiently and independently to complete all assigned tasks within the allocated time.
  • Maintain a professional and quiet demeanor while working in the office environment.
