Job Description
Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and eager to contribute to the development of artificial intelligence? We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Entry Level Computer Vision Annotator to join our dynamic team in Boise. In this role, you will play a critical part in labeling and categorizing video and image data, directly contributing to the training and improvement of our advanced computer vision models. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn about AI and machine learning from the ground up. No prior experience in AI or computer vision is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Precisely annotate objects, scenes, and activities within video and image datasets according to established guidelines and specifications.
- Categorize and tag data to support the training of machine learning algorithms for various computer vision applications.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in all annotation tasks to ensure data quality.
- Identify and report any ambiguities or inconsistencies in annotation guidelines to improve processes.
- Collaborate with a team of annotators and data scientists to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews of annotated data.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new annotation tools, techniques, and project requirements.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer usage and navigating software applications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain focus and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with image editing software or similar tools.
- Familiarity with data entry or quality control processes.
- An interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or computer vision.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Media, Fine Arts, Technology).
