Job Description
Join our dynamic quality assurance team as an EA Sports QA Aide! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals passionate about video games, especially sports titles, who possess a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute to the creation of world-class gaming experiences. As a QA Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and playability of our upcoming titles by performing thorough testing, identifying bugs, and providing clear feedback. No prior experience is required; we are looking for dedicated individuals with a High School Diploma or GED who are eager to learn and grow within the video game industry. You will work closely with experienced QA testers and developers in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases for various EA Sports titles across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and other issues using internal tracking tools.
- Provide clear, concise, and accurate reproduction steps for identified defects.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the stability of game features.
- Participate in daily team meetings to discuss progress and prioritize tasks.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand game mechanics and testing requirements.
- Conduct ad-hoc testing to discover unexpected issues.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding unreleased game content.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong passion for video games, especially sports titles (FIFA, Madden, NHL, NBA Live)
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate software applications
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently
