Job Description

Purolator is seeking enthusiastic Delivery Helpers to support our drivers in making timely and efficient deliveries across Downtown Kitchener. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and are eager to get paid for staying active. No previous experience is required; we’re looking for individuals with a strong work ethic and the physical capability to handle packages of various sizes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the loading and unloading of packages from delivery vehicles.
- Navigate routes efficiently with the driver, ensuring timely deliveries to residential and commercial customers.
- Safely and carefully carry packages of varying weights and sizes to designated drop-off points.
- Verify package information against delivery manifests.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kg) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical labour role or customer service.
- Familiarity with the Kitchener area.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
