Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Syndication Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this smart working, hourly rate role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of critical financial data to our diverse client base and partner platforms. You will manage data feeds, monitor quality, and troubleshoot any issues that arise, contributing directly to the integrity and reliability of our information services. This position offers flexibility while requiring a strong commitment to precision and data excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage daily data syndication processes, ensuring data integrity and delivery timeliness.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and technical issues related to data feeds and distribution channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, technology, content) to optimize data flow and resolve client queries.
- Perform routine quality checks and data validation to maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Document syndication processes, troubleshooting steps, and data flow architectures.
- Support the onboarding of new data sources and syndication partners.
- Analyze data distribution performance and recommend improvements to efficiency and reliability.
- Adhere to strict data governance and compliance policies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- Familiarity with data syndication concepts and technologies (e.g., APIs, FTP, XML/JSON feeds).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a smart working environment.
- Basic understanding of financial markets or data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with financial data platforms or data vendors (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet, LSEG products).
