Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Bowling Alley Assistant to join our team for afternoon and night shifts. In this role, you will be the face of fun, ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. You will assist with lane assignments, equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with lane assignments and reservation management.
- Provide instruction on bowling basics and assist guests with shoe and ball selection.
- Regularly monitor bowling lanes for cleanliness and proper function, performing basic equipment resets.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, operating the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bowling area, including wiping down tables and collecting used equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for shifts, including stocking supplies and securing areas.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation and exceptional guest service.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash.
- Availability to work afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality, entertainment, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with bowling equipment and rules.
- Experience with POS systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
