Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Compensation & Benefits / Rewards Manager to join our Human Resources team in Busan, South Korea. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent across our diverse business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international compensation practices and local market dynamics in South Korea, with a focus on ensuring our reward strategies are aligned with business objectives and legal compliance. This position offers sponsorship for qualified international candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies, policies, and programs.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitiveness of pay scales and benefits offerings.
  • Administer annual compensation cycles including salary reviews, bonus schemes, and long-term incentives.
  • Design and oversee various employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Manage vendor relationships for benefits administration and related services.
  • Provide expert advice and support to HR business partners and management on compensation and benefits-related matters.
  • Lead and participate in HR projects related to reward system enhancements and implementation.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management on C&B trends, costs, and effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits or Rewards management.
  • Proven experience with global compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using HRIS and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of South Korean labor laws and market practices related to C&B.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS).
  • Experience working in a large multinational corporation.
  • Proficiency in Korean language.
  • Experience with HR transformation projects or system implementations (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
