Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Commercial Window Cleaner to join our Coquitlam team. This is a ground-level position, primarily focusing on outdoor window cleaning for a variety of commercial properties. You will be responsible for ensuring windows are sparkling clean, contributing to the professional appearance of our clients’ businesses. This role involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and offers the benefit of early finishes, allowing for a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ground-level window cleaning on commercial buildings using squeegees, scrubbers, and other specialized tools.
- Ensure all windows are cleaned to a high standard, free of streaks and smudges.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
- Maintain and properly store all cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary.
- Work efficiently and independently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, sun, cold).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures for outdoor work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or residential window cleaning.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of different cleaning agents and their appropriate use.
- First Aid and/or WHMIS certification.
