Job Description
Ascension Seton is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic behavioral health team in Austin, Texas. This is an exceptional opportunity for a qualified professional to contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality mental healthcare services. The role involves comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for a diverse patient population across various settings, including outpatient clinics and potentially integrated care environments. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy (individual, group, family) for a wide range of mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and supervision sessions.
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives within the behavioral health department.
- Engage in continuous professional development and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
Required Skills
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Texas or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 4 years of post-doctoral clinical experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based psychotherapy.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Strong ethical conduct and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Eligibility for visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an integrated healthcare system or hospital setting.
- Specialization or advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish-English).
- Experience with diverse patient populations and cultural competencies.
