Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and diligent Cherry Harvest Hands to join our team for the upcoming summer season in Wolverhampton. This is a crucial temporary role responsible for the careful picking and packing of high-quality cherries. You will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the success of our harvest. We offer competitive ‘high rates’ for motivated individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully hand-picking cherries from trees according to quality standards.
- Sorting and packing cherries into punnets or crates.
- Working efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area in the orchard.
- Adhering to all health and safety guidelines on the farm.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth harvest operation.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work long hours outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Manual dexterity for delicate fruit handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fruit picking or farm work is a plus, but not essential.
