Job Description

You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of passenger luggage, ensuring it moves smoothly through the airport system. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload luggage from aircraft and baggage carts efficiently and safely.
- Transport luggage between aircraft, terminals, and baggage sorting areas.
- Operate baggage handling equipment (after training) according to safety protocols.
- Sort and tag luggage accurately to ensure correct routing.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures at all times.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Assist with other ground handling duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 23kg) repeatedly.
- Physical fitness and stamina for a demanding role.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical or customer service role.
- Full UK driving license.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts.
