Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Beauty Editor Assistant to join our dynamic Digital Content team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about the beauty industry and eager to develop their writing and content creation skills. You will support our Beauty Editors in producing engaging and informative digital content across various platforms, contributing to Ulta Beauty’s online presence and brand voice. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work both collaboratively in our Hialeah office and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Beauty Editors with research for articles, trends, and product reviews.
- Draft, edit, and proofread beauty-related content for our website, blog, and social media channels.
- Support the creation of engaging headlines, captions, and short-form copy.
- Help manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, product, creative) to gather information and assets.
- Assist in organizing and curating digital assets, including images and videos.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty trends, product launches, and industry news.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas.
Required Skills
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Strong passion for the beauty industry, including makeup, skincare, hair care, and fragrance.
- Familiarity with digital content platforms and social media.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Prior experience (even internship) in digital content creation, editorial, or beauty writing.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles for content.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS).
