Job Description

Wells Fargo in Cedar Rapids welcomes enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Bank Associate. This entry-level position is perfect for those eager to learn about banking operations, customer service, and contribute to a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with basic banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Process routine financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Educate customers on Wells Fargo's products and services relevant to their needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to all banking regulations and policies.
- Support branch operations by assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance the customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to refer customers to specialized banking services when appropriate.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- High school diploma or GED (or currently enrolled and on track to graduate)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role (e.g., retail, food service)
- Familiarity with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Ability to speak a second language is a plus
