Job Description
Are you a morning person with a keen sense of smell and an eye for detail? Publix Super Markets is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Bakery Secret Shoppers. This unique part-time role involves discreetly evaluating the quality of our bakery products and customer service during morning hours. Your mission will be to ensure our high standards for freshness, presentation, and service are consistently met, providing valuable feedback that helps us maintain the “Publix quality” our customers love. Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned Publix bakery locations during specified morning hours.
- Discreetly evaluate bakery product quality, freshness, and appearance, including baked goods, bread, and pastries.
- Assess customer service interactions, including friendliness, attentiveness, and product knowledge of bakery staff.
- Observe and report on bakery cleanliness, organization, and adherence to display standards.
- Purchase specific bakery items as required for evaluation, with full reimbursement.
- Complete detailed online survey reports promptly after each visit, providing objective and constructive feedback.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all aspects of the secret shopper program and observed store operations.
Required Skills
- Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail, particularly regarding food presentation and quality.
- Strong written communication skills for comprehensive, clear, and concise reporting.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and guidelines accurately and consistently.
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled visits, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel to various store locations within the designated area.
- Basic computer literacy for efficient online reporting and survey submission.
- A genuine passion for high-quality baked goods and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, mystery shopping, or quality control.
