Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Apple Hardware Systems Aide to join our technical design support team in Eastbourne. This role is ideal for an individual with a keen interest in hardware design, electronics, and technical documentation, looking to start their career in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will provide essential support to our engineering teams working on sophisticated hardware systems, ensuring smooth operations and efficient project execution. This entry-level position offers comprehensive training and the opportunity to work alongside industry experts on high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including schematics, layouts, and bill of materials (BOMs).
- Organize and manage design files, ensuring version control and accessibility for the team.
- Perform basic component research and procurement support, liaising with suppliers as needed.
- Support the assembly and testing of hardware prototypes, documenting observations and results.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure a tidy and organized workspace.
- Assist with data entry and analysis related to hardware performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate timely project completion.
- Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and technical findings.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of electronics principles and hardware components.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
