Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented AI Image Segmentation Specialist to join our innovative team. In this remote role, you will be crucial in developing and refining AI models for advanced image segmentation tasks across diverse datasets. You will work with cutting-edge tools and methodologies to ensure the precision and quality of our AI-driven solutions, supporting projects that span various sectors from healthcare to natural resources. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precise image segmentation and annotation using specialized tools and software.
  • Develop and apply methodologies for efficient and accurate labeling of complex image datasets.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to understand project requirements and refine segmentation criteria.
  • Contribute to the improvement of annotation guidelines and workflows.
  • Conduct quality assurance on segmented images to maintain high standards of accuracy.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data labeling issues, proposing solutions for enhanced efficiency and quality.
  • Stay current with advancements in image segmentation techniques and AI annotation tools.
  • Document processes, findings, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in image annotation/segmentation tools (e.g., Labelbox, VGG Image Annotator, CVAT).
  • Strong understanding of computer vision and image processing fundamentals.
  • Experience with various image segmentation techniques (e.g., semantic, instance, panoptic).
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts, especially in deep learning for computer vision.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Python scripting for data preprocessing or automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data storage and processing.
  • Understanding of medical imaging, satellite imagery, or industrial inspection datasets.
