Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a dynamic part-time opportunity that offers daily pay? FedEx Express is seeking enthusiastic and reliable High School Delivery Associates to join our team in Henderson, NV. This role is perfect for individuals who are responsible, enjoy being active, and want to gain valuable work experience while contributing to a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to residential and business customers within a designated route, upholding FedEx’s commitment to outstanding service. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages to customers on assigned routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Scan and log packages accurately using handheld devices.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring timely and undamaged delivery.
- Manage daily delivery logs and reports as required.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (minimum 1 year driving experience).
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs unassisted, and up to 150 lbs with assistance of a hand truck or co-worker.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in high school or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a delivery, customer service, or logistics role.
- Familiarity with the Henderson, NV geographical area.
- A strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends.
