Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Shopify Developer to join our growing team in Terrebonne, QC. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and apps using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement new features and functionalities for Shopify e-commerce platforms.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store capabilities.
- Optimize Shopify store performance for speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate client requirements into technical solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, bug-free deliverables.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing Shopify stores.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, industry trends, and best practices.
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain documentation standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid templating language.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/Sass), and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Shopify API integration (Storefront API, Admin API).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of responsive design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Knowledge of headless commerce architecture (e.g., using Shopify with Next.js).
- Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
