Job Description

This vital role involves safely and comfortably transporting patients to and from appointments, ensuring their dignity and well-being throughout their journey. No prior experience in healthcare is required as full, comprehensive training will be provided to all successful candidates. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients, often using wheelchairs, trolleys, or specific transport vehicles, between hospital departments, clinics, and their homes.
  • Assist patients with mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety during transfers.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient movements and vehicle logs.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and operational readiness of transport equipment and vehicles.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety, infection control, and safeguarding policies.
  • Respond to emergency situations appropriately and efficiently.
  • Provide a supportive and reassuring presence for patients during their journey.
