Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-starter to join our team as an eBay Listing Handler. This part-time, flexible evening role is essential for managing our online merchandise, ensuring accurate descriptions, high-quality photography, and efficient listing on eBay. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maximizing the value of donations and directly supporting Goodwill’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately identify, research, and describe a variety of items suitable for eBay sales, including electronics, collectibles, fashion, and home goods.
- Take high-quality, professional photographs that accurately represent items for sale.
- Create compelling and precise product listings on eBay, including detailed descriptions, appropriate pricing, and optimal category selection.
- Monitor active listings, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory, including tracking items from intake to listing and sale, ensuring proper organization and storage.
- Prepare sold items for shipping, ensuring secure, accurate, and timely packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Contribute to team efforts by assisting with other tasks as needed to support online sales operations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and item description.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple listings and tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience listing and selling items on eBay or other e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of various merchandise categories, including brand identification and value assessment.
- Experience with inventory management systems or databases.
- Basic photography skills, particularly for product imagery.
