Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Utility Workers to join our team in Queens, NY. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities across various shifts. You will perform a variety of tasks including material handling, sorting, cleaning, and general maintenance. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties including sorting, packing, loading, and unloading materials.
- Operate various types of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by performing regular cleaning and waste removal.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and tracking items.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 49 lbs repeatedly.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures, loud noises, and dust.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
