Job Description

This part-time role offers an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of warehouse operations, contribute to our daily logistics processes, and develop crucial skills that will benefit your academic and professional journey. You will work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with various tasks to ensure the efficient flow of goods through our state-of-the-art facility. This is an on-site position, ideal for students seeking practical experience and a flexible work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and sorting of packages and freight.
- Support inventory management through accurate counting and record-keeping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 70 lbs (with assistance if necessary).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (even informal).
- Enrollment in a supply chain management, logistics, or related field of study.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
