Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented 17-year-old looking for your first step into the retail world? Target in Near Southside, Fort Worth, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable teens to join our team as an Inventory Tagger. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to learn the foundational aspects of retail operations, specifically focused on inventory management and merchandise presentation. You’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our shelves are accurately stocked and ready for our guests, contributing directly to a smooth and efficient shopping experience. This position is on-site at our Fort Worth location.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tag and label incoming merchandise with price, size, and product information.
- Assist in organizing and sorting new shipments for placement on the sales floor or in storage.
- Verify inventory counts against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and report discrepancies or damaged items to supervisors.
- Help maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor.
- Learn and adhere to all safety and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
