Key Responsibilities
- Prepare reagents, media, and solutions according to established protocols.
- Assist senior scientists in conducting various laboratory experiments and procedures, including cell culture, PCR, Western blots, and ELISAs.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration, cleanliness, and functionality.
- Accurately record and document experimental data, observations, and results in lab notebooks or electronic systems.
- Follow strict safety guidelines and quality control procedures to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including ordering supplies and reagents.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions.
- Learn and implement new laboratory techniques and assays as required by research projects.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of general laboratory techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
