Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Family Office Investment Intern to join our Wealth Management team in Carlisle. This internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of private wealth management, specifically within a family office setting. You will work closely with experienced financial advisors and investment managers, assisting with research, analysis, and client support. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis on various investment opportunities, asset classes, and economic trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of client presentations, investment proposals, and performance reports.
  • Support the portfolio management team with data aggregation, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Aid in due diligence processes for potential investment opportunities.
  • Shadow wealth managers in client meetings (where appropriate) to understand client relationship management.
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the family office investment desk.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets, investments, and wealth management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Previous internship or relevant academic project experience in financial services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with financial databases and research tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv Eikon).
