Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Fast Food Janitorial Aide to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our McDonald’s restaurant in Akron, OH. This entry-level position is crucial to ensuring our facilities consistently meet the highest standards of sanitation and presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean and wipe down tables, chairs, counters, and other dining area surfaces.
- Clean kitchen areas, equipment exteriors, and back-of-house spaces as directed.
- Maintain exterior cleanliness, including litter removal from parking lots and walkways.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to support restaurant operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate weight (up to 25 lbs), and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures (training provided).

- Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role, preferably in a food service environment.
