Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver HGV driving instruction programs for new and existing drivers.
  • Conduct practical driving assessments and provide constructive feedback.

  • Maintain accurate records of driver training, qualifications, and progress.
  • Stay updated on the latest HGV technology, regulations, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with no restrictions.
  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable HGV driving experience.
  • Proven ability to operate various types of heavy goods vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance.
  • Ability to teach and clearly explain complex driving concepts.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications for record keeping and reporting.
  • Commitment to safety and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an HGV instructor or trainer.
  • Certification in driver education or instructional techniques.
